Rules and Regulations
  1. The 2009 Central Canadian Horse Pull Association rules will govern the pull event. Only C.C.H.P.A. members in good standing may compete.
  2. Each exhibitor must pay a fee of $5 on registration at the event.
  3. Teamsters and two helpers will be allowed free entry to the grounds on the day of the event with their current membership card. All others are required to pay a non-refundable admission to the Fair.
  4. All horses entered are to provide proof of negative immunodiffusion test (Coggins test) for Equine Infectious Anemia for the current 12 month period.
  5. Entrants must have a Certificate of Proof for $2,000,000 liability insurance.
  6. Scales will be operated in accordance with C.C.H.P.A. guidelines.Scales will be operated in accordance with C.C.H.P.A. guidelines.
  7. Heavy and Light Classes may be pulled together at the discretion of the Judge and officials. In such case, teams compete and are judged within their own Class only.
Pulling Competition

Open to Light and Heavy Classes. Prize money is the same for both. The Judge will determine qualifying pulls for hitch money.

Prize Money:

1st: $325.00 2nd: $250.00 3rd: $175.00
4th: $150.00 5th: $125.00
Hitch - 6th place & beyond: $100.00
