- Amateurs only!
- Flowers must be grown by exhibitors, except in arrangement class where additional materials may be purchased.
- Biennials may be shown as perennials.
- Fresh flowers only, unless otherwise stated.
- PLACE ALL TOP-HEAVY FLOWERS IN A WEIGHTED CONTAINER.
- All precautions will be taken to safeguard exhibitors containers, however, Orangeville Agricultural Society cannot be responsible for any mishap. Please do not use expensive or heirloom containers.
- Committee reserves the right to remove any wilted or dead flowers. Exhibitors may add fresh blooms to exhibit from Saturday on.
- NO flower arranging in hall on the day of fair.
- Additional prizes may be given if exhibit merits, but not necessarily first, at the Judge’s discretion.
- Please ensure that entry tags are securely attached to the exhibit.
Hints
- Rose blooms should be ½ to ¾ open at judging time.
- A collection is a number of any one kind of variety of flower or plant shown as one exhibit.
- The quality, variety of the blooms, and the artistic effect of the exhibit will be judged.
- Decorative arrangements; unless otherwise stated, use fresh flowers only, adding foliage and accessories to carry out your version of these sections. The Judge may also take into consideration the size and desirability of the container.

- DIRECTOR'S SPECIAL: An arrangement of silk flowers. First prize will go to the Senior Fair Ambassador and the second prize will go to the Junior
Fair Ambassador.
