2009 Draft Horse Show
Wayne Reid Memorial
- Entries will be accepted on show day until 8:30am, but must be on a completed registration form.
- There will be no admittance free required at the gate nor a membership fee deducted from your winnings. However, 15% of your winnings will be held back by the O.A.S.
- You MUST supply a certificate of insurance for at least one million ($1,000,000.) dollars coverage with your entries. No exceptions!
- In all hitch classes, a driver must be accompanied by another experienced driver into, out of, and while in the ring.
- Specify Belgian, Clydesdale or Percheron on your entry form for halter classes. Hitch classes are open to Belgian, Clydesdale, Percheron and Commercial. Commercial halter class is Gelding, any age, only.
A light breakfast will be served to all draft horse exhibitors from 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Special prizes will be announced on show day and will be in a special prize book compiled by the committee.

- Ontario Bred and Sired registered Belgian yearling filly. The Filly must be from a mare owned by an resident of the Province of Ontario at the time of service, and sired by a stallion owned and standing, in the Province of Ontario at the time of service. The owner must be a member of the Ontario Belgian Horse Association for the current year. The filly must have been nominated with the Ontario Belgian Horse Association by April 30, 2009. A certificate bearing the name, registration number and pedigree will be issued to owners for each filly to be eligible to compete. It will be the sole responsibility fo the exhibitor to have the certificate signed by the Judge with the placing awarded at the fair.
